Sallymatu Kuyateh

Founder of My Goal Saver

Sallymatu Kuyateh was born in Sierra Leone in west Coast of Africa. During the civil war in 1991 she fled to Ghana where she lived in a refugee camp, and then migrated to Australia under the refugee resettlement scheme in July 2005. 
Sally holds a formal accounting undergraduate and masters’ qualifications together with postgraduate professional development.  She is currently employed with TransLink (Queensland Government) and oversees the asset and account receivable functions.  She also assists senior management on work practices, financial processes and accountability, customer service, and marketing.

Sally is also a Financial Coach and Entrepreneur. She is the CEO and founder of Empathy Community Services - an NDIS-registered organisation that is culturally oriented and person-centred to care for the vulnerable in our community.  It also creates jobs for qualified women with compassion and great work ethic, who may find it difficult to compete in the wider job community due to their ethnicity or background. 

In addition, Sally is the founder and owner of My Goal Saver.  This company has helped many women and families from non-English speaking background who now calling Australia home to save money, buy their first family home and sometimes start their small family business.
