Aunty Robyn Williams

Community Support Worker/Cultural Worker

Aunty Robyn’s family are one of the many Traditional Owners of the Yugumbeh Language Region. 

She has held various positions over the years.  She has worked in the Public Service in Canberra for over 12 years.  On returning home Robyn started working in Education with her main role being a Teacher Aide. She is very passionate about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander jarjums receiving a good education, this also applies to non-Indigenous children.

After doing this job for many years, Aunty Robyn can finally say she has found her true calling.  She is currently working for Beenleigh Housing and Development Company also known as Jinndi Mibunn (Yugambeh Language meaning “Nest of Eagles). She is a Community Support Worker/Cultural Worker.  Helping out community on Country and she loves it.
