Denise Edwards

CEO of The Cryogenics Group

Denise Edwards is a proud Woppaburra woman from Keppel Island in Queensland. She has spent most of her life in Logan since 1969, attending both Woodridge State Primary and High School. In the mid 80’s she completed a diploma of teaching and later a Bachelor of Educational Studies at the University of Queensland.

Denise has been in business for more than 25 years. In 1993 she founded, Cryotech Industries which later became known as The Cryogenics Group. The Cryogenics Group is the only 100% indigenous and female owned cryogenics company in Australia.

A recent accomplishment in her career was completing the MURRA Indigenous Business Masterclass Program at Melbourne Business School.
