International Day of the Girl

60 girls from five Brisbane high schools (years 10 and 11) came together at QPAC on Friday 13 October for a day of special WOW-like activities to celebrate the International Day of the Girl and to brainstorm ideas for the 2019 International Women’s Day events at their individual schools.

Advancing Women in Business

The Advancing Women in Business Program is an initiative of the Queensland Government Department of Employment, Small Business and Training (DESBT) to encourage more women to consider developing their own business opportunities across the State. We have been supported through this Initiative to enhance our Regional Voices program to help women and girls look at what it takes to establish an enterprise, including those with a cultural or social purpose through stories, workshops and mentoring.
