Lucy has always loved to draw; images and pictures have always interested her. How they can tell a story and create meaning. This probably impacted Lucy more than others as she struggled to communicate with the written language and this became more prominent as she got older and entered the education system. She knew from the beginning that the system was not built for her, however Lucy didn’t know why for a very long time. It was through growing her art and late diagnosis of being neurodivergent that she started to learn why she always felt like the black sheep.
