We share a vision for a gender equal world when no one is prevented from achieving their life goals due to gender discrimination.

The global WOW movement for action and change uses cultural celebrations, truth telling and collaboration to achieve this goal.

WOW in Australia is led by nonprofit company Of One Mind and producing partner Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC).

Join us and help amplify the voices of women, girls and all people
fighting for gender equality.

A Chance to Double your impact!

Donate now

In October we will be present a new program ‘Voices Shaping the Future’ in partnership with QPAC and the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership.

Young women, boys and non binary people will gather to discuss steps to greater gender equality and using their voices and actions to make our communities better places for all. Your donation will be used to enable those living in remote and regional areas and whose voices are not always heard, to share their stories and participate in this year’s event.

Your donations will be used as follows:

Under $50 - ticket costs for their attendance at Marliya Choir in Spinifex Gum, workshops and conversation series

$50 to $500 – Towards accommodation costs in Brisbane

$500 to $1000 – Towards travel costs

And for all donations up to a total of $10,000 our wonderful supporters at Zonta Club of Brisbane will match your donation!

#INHERNAME

Meet the women who have inspired our supporters

Donors contributing $250 and above will have the opportunity to put the donation in the name of a woman who has been or still is, important to them in their lives. These will be presented in words and image on our website, which we will build up over the next three years. We are doing this in recognition of the many women whose names are not written in our history books, whose deeds may go unnoticed in their communities, or simply whose love, friendship and caring we wish to acknowledge.
