 Whether you're already interested in renewable energy or simply curious to learn more, this tour offers a unique opportunity to see renewable energy in action, ask questions directly to the people involved and discover the role it's playing in shaping Queensland's future. 

Transport: Complimentary coach transport provided to and from the site  

Bus will depart from the Roseberry Street bus stop, just around the corner of the ACCIONA Energia Community Hub.

• 8:30 - 8:45am: Arrive at pick-up location 

• 8:45 - 9:15am:  Welcome & Safety briefing 

• 9:15 - 9:45am: Bus departs and drives to Aldoga Solar farm 

• 9:45 - 9:50am: Arrive Onsite & settle 

• 9:50 - 10:15am: Information session 

• 9:50 - 9:55am: Welcome from WOW (Cathy Hunt) 

• 9:55 - 10:00am: Scene setting - Queensland's energy shift (ELA) 

• 10:00 - 10:10am: Story of Aldoga Solar farm, including; history, community benefits, key project facts (Renee & team) 

• 10:10 - 10:15am: A local perspective (Natalia Muszkat) 

• 10:15am - 11:15am: Site visit across Solar farm 

  There will be multiple points the bus will stop at onsite for you to experience the solar farm at scale and up close. 

• 11:15 - 11:45am: Bus departs and drives back to Gladstone CBD 

• 11:45 - 12:00pm: Participants dropped off & return safety wear.
