How to be more than a Bystander

Join the team from the Be There Group for a workshop on the role of the bystander in preventing violence before it occurs and calling out problematic behaviour in safe and respectful ways.

Get prepped for your Festival Day with the graceful art of Tai Chi.  Learn movements that promote balance, flexibility and calm.  Suitable for all levels, it is a perfect way to enhance emotional wellbeing and harmony.

Weave with the amazing Christine Holden to transform marine debris into ethical, hand-woven art. This workshop is a great way to connect and unwind while creating a stunning underwater reef from recycled materials, celebrating craft and our planet

Navigating Change: Queensland’s Energy Future

Join us for a workshop exploring the energy shift taking place in Queensland - what’s driving it globally, what's happening across different locations across Queensland, the legislative framework underpinning it, and how to negotiate the best outcomes for landholders and communities if a renewable energy developer comes to town. We’ll unpack the challenges, highlight the opportunities, and explore the critical role that all local community members can play in shaping a fair, sustainable and prosperous energy future.

Join Veils of Arabia for a gentle introduction to belly dance.  Learn the basics of the Middle East’s most famous dance, exploring the movements, music and rhythm, whilst having a great time. The group values inclusivity, cultural appreciation, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all.

From picking a topic, interview techniques and using the gear; learn how to make your very own podcast with the team from Radio 4EB.
