We’re kicking things off on Friday morning with a special breakfast event just for the men and boys of Gladstone, a powerful way to launch two days of connection, conversation and community. This breakfast is a chance to celebrate leadership and allyship in action. Start your day with a laugh as comedian, Mandy Nolan makes sure we are all awake. You'll hear from men who are walking the talk, those who have experienced firsthand the benefits of working together to build kinder, more respectful workplaces and communities for everyone.
The morning will feature a presentation on the exciting new space for men, Bob’s Garage, as well as a panel discussion facilitated by Shaan Ross-Smith, visionary leader and violence prevention specialist from The Be There Group, including a range of inspiring WOW Festival guests ready to share their insights, stories and calls to action.

Bob’s Garage
Bob’s Garage is a dedicated men’s health facility based in Gladstone, created through the vision and support of McCosker Contracting and operated in partnership with Men & Co. Services. The facility provides a safe, welcoming space where men can access practical, approachable support for their mental, physical, and social wellbeing.
Through free or low-cost programs, workshops, and one-on-one support, Bob’s Garage encourages open conversations, reduces stigma around men’s health, and connects men with trusted local services and professionals. The facility is strengthened through partnerships with organisations such as Men & Co. Services, the Salvation Army, CapRescue, ACSO, and Gladstone Mindcare, ensuring a wide network of care and resources is available.
More than just a building, Bob’s Garage is a community-driven initiative designed to empower men to take care of their health, strengthen connections, and build a healthier, stronger Gladstone.
