Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Coordinator for Paralympics Australia, RAP Advisor for Netball Queensland and the Queensland Firebirds

Grace Sarra is a proud Gooreng Gooreng and Taribelang woman, who's Aboriginal ancestors come from Bundaberg. Grace is also of Italian, English and German descent. She has had a lifetime of experience navigating living in this modern world with an intersecting identity. Grace is passionate about Reconciliation and has worked and is currently working within roles that foster a better future for her people and a reframed relationship between First Nations and Non First Nations people. Her roles include the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Coordinator for Paralympics Australia, RAP Advisor for Netball Queensland and the Queensland Firebirds, and her previous role was as the First Nations support officer at Lourdes Hill College. Grace is also studying Secondary Education, as she believes in the powerful interplay between Reconciliation and Education.
